Geosphere
The Geosphere refers to the solid Earth. It is composed of naturally occuring solid aggregate of minerals, organic materials.
Atmosphere
Is the mixture of gasses(nitrogen, oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide and water vapor) that sorround the planets. Aside from the presence of important gases in the atmosphere, its relative abundance is also crucial. The air in the atmosphere is generally composed of 78% nitrogen,21% oxygen,0.9% argon and the remaining .10% is made up of different traces gases.
Biosphere
Biosphere includes all life forms and even organic matter that has not yet decomposed. Most life on Earth exists within a zoneless than 20km wide where interactions between the lithosphere, hydrosphere , the athmosphere create a habitable environment. It is also in this zone that the interaction between the different subsystems is most dynamic.
Vertical Line Test
A vertical line test is a method used to determine the function of the range and domain. It is can be only used in a graphical form using the graphical line.
If the vertical line test touches 2 or more points in a certain plot in the graph. It is NOT FUNCTION.

Determining the Asymptote
To find the asymptote of a rational function defined by a rational expression in lowest term, use the following procedure:
1). Vertical Asymptote
Find any vertical asymptotes by setting the denominator equal to zero and solving for y. If a is zero of the denominator, then the line y=a is a vertical asymptote.
2). Other Asymptotes
Determine any other asymptotes consider three possibilities:
a.) If the numerator has a lower degree than tge denominator, then there is a horizontal asymptote y=0
b.) If the numerator and denominator has the same degree.
c.) If the numerator is of degree exactly one more than the denominator then there will be an oblique(slanted) asymptote. To gind it, divide the numerator by tge denominator and disregard the remainder. Set the rest of the qoutient equal to y to obtain the equation of the asymptote.

Earth Subsystem
Earth is composed of four basic subsystem. The Geosphere, Hydrosphere, Atmosphere and Biosphere. It may be important to note that humans are not part of the biosphere and that human lives defend on the interaction of the four subsystem.
